Overview

This project was part of graduation of Tuwaiq's Academy bootcamp of Design and Manufacturing of PCBs. It was mandatory to design a circuit electrically (without the use of Microcontroller like ESP32)using the following components:

  • 555 Timers.

  • Transistors

  • LEDs.

  • Resistors.

  • Capacitors.

  • Type-C PORT.

  • PowerDelivery (PD) Integrated Chip (IC).

  • Push buttons.

It was challenging to get an idea to perform within a week that it don't look basic, due to my ability to perform the perfect and applicable idea. So I have came up with a system that I've seen a lot in Riyadh which is the Pedestrian System with the traffic lights in some Riyadh roads. Where this system make the green lights for vehicles almost all of the time, but when a pedestrian wants to across the road, he/her pushes a button to make the traffic light go yellow for 3s and then red for around 10-30s. And I have successfully implemented that idea by using simple components and designed a PCB, assembled it, and solder it.
