Munther

Overview
Munther is an advanced accident detection and alert system designed to enhance road safety by automatically notifying emergency response teams in the event of a vehicle rollover. The device is installed in vehicles and continuously monitors their tilt angle using specialized sensors. If the vehicle's angle exceeds 90 degrees—indicating a likely rollover—it immediately sends an alert to designated emergency servers managed by rescue teams such as the Red Crescent and Border Guards.
By leveraging real-time monitoring and automated emergency alerts, Munther ensures a rapid response to critical accidents, ultimately reducing delays in medical assistance and improving survival rates.
Approach
Munther utilizes a tilt/ sensor to track the vehicle's inclination continuously. When the sensor detects a rollover (≥90 degrees), the device initiates a series of automated actions:
Real-time Monitoring: The system constantly measures vehicle tilt angles to detect abnormal positioning.
Automated Detection: Once the threshold angle is reached, the device confirms the accident through built-in algorithms.
Instant Alert System: A distress signal containing the vehicle's location is transmitted to emergency response teams, ensuring rapid deployment of aid.
Privacy-Focused: The device only activates location tracking upon detecting an accident, preserving user privacy and preventing unnecessary tracking.
Munther is designed for speed, accuracy, and automation, making it a crucial innovation for improving road safety and emergency response times. Its ability to function without human intervention and its applicability to both land and marine vehicles make it a valuable tool in accident management.
